The Sleep-Salt Connection
We know that salt and blood pressure is interconnected and studies have also found that a lack of sleep can cause heart problems. We are now able to get a closer look at how all this works.
Each and every cell in our body has its own circadian clock, and these clocks are all regulated by the master circadian clock in the brain (hypothalamus) based on the light/dark data received through the retina in the eye
Researchers now also found that the circadian clock gene, Per 1 regulated proteins in the kidney responsible for balancing sodium levels. When Per 1 is not expressed, expression of protein (alpha-ENaC) levels in the kidney was decreased and sodium loss via urine increased, vice versa.

That’s interesting. I know I have to monitor my salt levels quite closely in order to keep my blood pressure up, so I wonder if my lack of sleep also contributes to things there too.
Hmmmm.
That is very handy information indeed. It is very important for every single individual to maintain a normal blood pressure. We should consume less salt to prevent increase in blood pressure. I completely like what you have posted and think people must read this and take care of their health.
